WEBLEY WG ARMY MODEL

Very nice Webley WG ARMY MODEL. Retains much original bright blue. Top of barrel marked, "MANTON & CO. LONDON & CALCUTTA". Nice original wooden, checkered grips with one small chip out of toe of right side. The bore and mechanics are excellent. Webley factory records indicate that this revolver was manufactured in 1901 so it must be shipped to an FFL holder. It was sold on 5 October 1911 to "Manton & Co. Old Court House Street Calcutta. This was a private purchase revolver for a British Officer in the Indian Army. A real piece of history. Serial #178xx.
