The Taurus GX2 is a striker-fired, single-action-only 9mm compact pistol built on a stainless-steel alloy frame with a polymer grip. Verified factory specifications list a 3.38in barrel, 13+1 capacity and a 20.6 oz. unloaded weight. The GX2 uses a drift-adjustable rear sight and features a reversible magazine release.
Construction and safeties are factory-specified: alloy-steel slide, stainless-steel barrel, polymer grip, and safety devices that include a firing pin block, trigger safety blade and a visual loaded-chamber indicator. The model is offered in two-tone colorways; the UPC provided corresponds to a cyan (turquoise) frame with a silver/ stainless slide two-tone variant.
