The Taurus TX22 Compact is a .22 LR semi-automatic pistol built with a high-grade aluminum slide and polymer frame. The Compact model features a 3.6-inch alloy steel barrel, a Picatinny accessory rail, sight and an adjustable serrated rear sight. The Compact is supplied with factory safety devices including a striker block and trigger safety and — on certain SKUs — a manual safety.
The Compact model is offered factory-optics ready with slide lightening cuts and a suppressor-ready threaded barrel on optics-ready/threaded variants. The TX22 platform is marketed for recreational range use and sport/competition shooting thanks to its light weight and ergonomic grip design.
