The Taurus GX4 is a micro-compact 9mm pistol designed for maximum concealment and everyday carry. It ships from the factory with two 11-round magazines and delivers an 11+1 capacity in a one-inch-wide frame intended to minimize printing during deep concealment.
Constructed with a stainless steel alloy frame and a textured polymer grip, the GX4 features a gas-nitride finished slide and a satin black DLC coated stainless barrel. The pistol includes interchangeable backstraps, a reversible magazine release, and an easy take-down pin for field stripping.
Safety and control features include a striker firing system (single-action only), a firing pin block, an integrated trigger safety, and a visual loaded chamber indicator. Sights are a serrated drift-adjustable steel rear and a steel front with a white dot; the unloaded weight is 18.5 oz and the standard barrel length is 3.06 in.
