The Taurus GX2 is a striker-fired, single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. It ships with two flush-fit 13-round magazines and features a 3.38 in. barrel in a compact 6.14 in. overall package. The GX2 uses a stainless steel alloy frame, alloy steel slide and a stainless steel barrel and has a matte black / matte stainless finish.
Features include a drift-adjustable rear sight, reversible magazine release and multiple safety devices: a firing pin block, trigger safety and a visual loaded-chamber indicator. The pistol is specified at 20.6 oz. unloaded and is intended as a compact defensive / carry-oriented semi-auto platform.
