The Taurus G2C in .40 S&W is a compact, striker-fired pistol built on a textured polymer frame with Taurus Memory Pads. It ships with a 3.2 in stainless barrel, a 10+1 magazine capacity (factory configuration), fixed front and adjustable rear , an accessory Picatinny (Mil-STD-1913) rail, and multiple safety features including a manual thumb safety, trigger safety and a firing-pin block with a loaded-chamber indicator.
Engineered for everyday carry and personal protection, the G2C uses a single-action striker system with restrike capability. Unloaded weight is listed at 21.1 oz and overall length about 6.2 in. Factory finish options are matte black or matte stainless and the pistol is supplied with two magazines in typical configurations.
