Taurus PT917C 9MM Pistol

This is the Taurus 917C, Beretta 92 descendant, with 4" barrel, and full size modified 92 type grip frame with finger groove front strap. The design incorporates the best of the classic Beretta 92, with ambidextrous safety – decocker that can lock into safety position with hammer at rest for rapid deployment double action first shots, or lock into place cocked-and-locked for more rapid deployment and traditionalist satisfaction. Grip frame is standard size and will accept any Taurus 92 or 99 standard or even 10 round magazine. Total capacity is 20 rounds with the extended 917C nineteen round magazine engaged, or 18 rounds with the standard 92 seventeen shot magazine inserted. Comes with one extended round and one standard round magazines. Frame also includes, as the photo shows, a picatinny type integral rail. Sights are dovetailed-in high impact polymer bodied combat three dot type. Construction is lightweight alloy grip frame with steel slide, barrel, and parts. Finish is non-glare matte blue steel with flat black finish on the anodized frame. Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts or for civilian buyers in jurisdictions where magazines over 15 rounds are restricted, As the pictures shows it still contains the original factory lube and was kept in safe, fired only five rounds as test.
