This new Taurus reminds us more of the Walther PPF more than any other pistol, and the Walther is probably the unintentional progenitor of this Taurus. A combination of two things set this Taurus apart: its 0.95 inch thinness and its lever safety. No one else offers that combination to our knowledge. This PT-709 Slim comes to us from one of our favorite Carolinans, and he isn’t worried about sexy anyway; traded for one of our California Department of Corrections pistols to get it back to the East Coast.
