The Springfield Armory XD-S MOD.2 OSP 3.3" .45 ACP is a slim, single-stack compact pistol built for concealed carry. It ships with a 3.3" hammer-forged steel barrel with a Melonite® finish and a forged steel Melonite slide. The black polymer frame features Springfield’s enhanced Mod.2 grip texture and a passive grip safety.
This OSP variant comes optics-ready with a factory-milled slide and a seamless polymer cover plate when no optic is fitted. It includes (1) 5-round flush magazine and (1) 6-round extended magazine, a dual captive recoil spring with full-length guide rod, and / serrated rear sights. The pistol also incorporates the XD Mod.2 passive safeties including the grip safety and striker-block drop safety.
