The XD-M Elite 3.8" Compact OSP (California Compliant) is an optics-ready, concealment-oriented 9mm from Springfield Armory built on the XD-M Elite platform. It ships with two 10-round magazines and a magazine disconnect to meet California compliance; the slide and 3.8" hammer-forged barrel feature a Melonite® finish and the slide is optics-ready with a loaded chamber indicator.
The pistol includes a fiber-optic front sight and Tactical Rack U-Dot™ rear sight, a captive recoil system, and a 1.2" grip width. Controls are ambidextrous and the design incorporates the XD family safety package (grip safety, trigger safety and internal striker block). The removable short magwell option (non-permanent) and optics-ready slide provide modularity for different carry and shooting setups.
