The Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin AOS is a 9mm, optics-ready 1911 built around a forged carbon steel blued slide and a forged, match-grade, fully supported 4.25in stainless steel barrel (1:16). It is paired with a forged aluminum alloy frame finished in satin aluminum Cerakote and fitted with Crossed Cannon wood laminate grips and fiber-optic front / black serrated rear sights.
The pistol ships with 9-round magazines (9+1 capacity), weighs 31 oz, and measures 7.9in overall. The Ronin AOS features a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump and an extended/manual thumb safety, and comes from the factory with an optics-ready slide (AOS configuration).
