The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS in .45 ACP is a forged carbon-steel, optics-ready 1911 built with duty-grade features. This threaded configuration features a 5.75" forged stainless steel barrel (.578x28 thread), Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish, VZ G10 grips, an integral Picatinny rail, and tritium front with black serrated rear sights.
The pistol ships with two 8-round magazines, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and Agency Optic System (AOS) compatibility for common red dot footprints. The heavy all-steel construction results in a listed weight of 42 oz and an overall length of 8.6".
