The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy Comp AOS is a factory-compensated variant of the Prodigy double-stack 1911. It features an integral single-port compensator on a 5.00" match-grade forged stainless bull barrel and an optics-ready, forged carbon steel slide machined for AOS plates.
Built around a polymer grip module mounted to a forged carbon steel receiver, the Prodigy Comp ships with a flush 17-round magazine and an extended 20-round magazine. The pistol includes a tritium front sight positioned behind the compensator and a black serrated rear sight, and uses a two-piece full-length guide rod recoil system.
The Prodigy Comp includes a Picatinny accessory rail and ships with AOS compatibility for a range of red-dot plates. It is offered in a black Cerakote finish and comes in a padded case.
