The 1911 DS Prodigy Comp is an integrally compensated, optics-ready double-stack 1911 from Springfield Armory chambered in 9mm. The 4.25" match-grade bull barrel features an integral compensator to reduce muzzle rise; the slide is cut for the Agency Optic System (AOS) and ships with optics-compatibility features and a Picatinny accessory rail. The pistol includes both a flush 17-round magazine and a 20-round extended magazine.
Built around forged steel components for durability and finished in Black Cerakote, the Prodigy Comp uses a forged stainless match-grade barrel and a forged carbon steel slide and frame. Sights are a tritium front with a black serrated rear, and the pistol ships with a polymer grip module and a full-length 2-piece guide rod. Overall length is 7.8" and unloaded weight is 32.5 oz.
