The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0C is a compact, duty-grade 9mm engineered for carry. It features a 4.0" hammer-forged steel barrel with a Melonite® finish and a billet-machined slide finished in OD Green Cerakote®. The slide is optics-ready via Springfield's Variable Interface System for direct-mount red dot compatibility.
The pistol uses an OD Green polymer grip module (small) with a 1.2" grip width and a captive recoil system. Factory iron sights are a tritium/luminescent front post paired with a Tactical Rack U-Dot™ rear. Standard magazines include a flush 15-round and an extended 18-round magazine; select 15-round variants are offered for restricted locales.
Measured unloaded with a flush magazine, the Echelon 4.0C is 7.25" long and weighs 24 oz. It was developed as a compact duty/carry option within the Echelon family and is offered in OD Green as a factory colorway.
