The 1911 DS Prodigy Comp 4.25" in Coyote Brown is Springfield Armory’s double-stack 1911 offering in a compact, compensated configuration. Chambered in 9mm Luger, this low-capacity COMP model ships with multiple 10-round magazines and features an integral compensator and Coyote Brown Cerakote finish.
Designed with modern carry and performance features, the pistol is optics-ready with Springfield’s AOS (Agency Optic System) footprint, includes an ambidextrous manual safety and an accessory Picatinny rail, and uses coyote brown polymer grip panels. The slide is forged carbon steel with Cerakote while the barrel is a match-grade forged stainless bull barrel.
Factory specifications list a 4.25 in barrel, overall length of 7.8 in, tritium front with black serrated rear sights, and a listed weight of 32.5 oz.
