The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy Comp is a double-stack, optics-ready 1911 that pairs a forged stainless bull barrel with an integrally compensated, optics-ready slide. The Comp 4.25" AOS model is finished in Coyote Brown Cerakote H-250 and ships with 17- and 20-round magazines.
Built on a forged carbon steel frame with a polymer grip module, the Prodigy Comp features an extended ambidextrous thumb safety, Picatinny accessory rail, skeletonized hammer and match-grade 4.25" bull barrel. Sights are a tritium front with a black serrated U-notch rear for fast sight acquisition.
The Prodigy platform was engineered for modern capacity and control while retaining a single-action 1911-style trigger and match-grade accuracy for sport shooting and defensive use.
