The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 is a full-size, 5.7x28mm semi-automatic pistol built on a slim, textured polymer frame. It uses an internal hammer-fired, gas-operated TEMPO™ barrel system and ships with two 22-round magazines.
Features verified from the factory include an optics-ready slide, 1/2x28 threaded muzzle with thread protector, drift-adjustable steel sights ( / ), ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, flat-face trigger, and a Picatinny-style equipment rail. The pistol is finished with Armornite® on slide and barrel and is made in the United States.
