The Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield EZ M2.0 is a compact, single-stack 9mm pistol designed to be easier to operate. It features an internal hammer-fired action, a 3.675in stainless steel barrel with an Armornite finish, a polymer frame and ships with two easy-to-load 8-round magazines. The model is built with an emphasis on easy slide manipulation and user-friendly magazine loading.
This SKU (12436) includes a manual thumb safety and the Shield EZ design incorporates a grip safety and a tactile loaded-chamber indicator (TLCI). The pistol has sights (drift-adjustable rear) and a 1.25" three-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail for lights/lasers.
Measured dimensions and handling characteristics include an overall length of 6.8in and a reported unloaded weight around 23.2oz. The pistol is finished with Smith & Wesson's Armornite corrosion-resistant coating and uses a textured polymer grip surface.
