The Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield Plus (Optics Ready) is a micro-compact, striker-fired 9mm designed for concealed carry. It features a 3.1in barrel, optics-ready slide cut, flat face trigger with tactile and audible reset, and orange-ring tritium front night sight paired with a black tritium rear night sight. The slide has an Armornite® corrosion-resistant finish and the frame is matte black polymer.
Ergonomics-focused features include enhanced grip texture, an optimal 18-degree grip angle and a flush-fit 10-round magazine. The pistol is extremely thin and lightweight for all-day carry, incorporates M&P’s take-down lever and sear deactivation for disassembly without pulling the trigger, and is backed by Smith & Wesson’s Lifetime Service Policy.
