The Performance Center M&P Shield X Carry Comp is a compact, striker-fired 9mm pistol built on the Shield X platform with an integral PowerPort compensator. It uses a 3.6 in fluted barrel mated to a slide port to vent gas upward and reduce muzzle rise. The pistol ships with Ameriglo front/night sight and a blacked-out serrated u-notch rear sight and features an RMSc/K-style optics cut for micro red-dot footprints.
The Carry Comp variant retains the Shield X's polymer frame and longer ergonomic grip (flush-fit 13-round and extended 15-round magazines; a 10-round compliant configuration is available). It includes an accessory rail on the dustcover, stainless steel slide and barrel with an Armornite finish, and is offered in configurations with or without a manual thumb safety. Published specs list an overall length of 6.87 in and a weight of 20.6 oz.
