The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield X is a 9mm compact striker-fired pistol featuring a 3.6in stainless steel barrel with an Armornite finish and a polymer frame. The Shield X is optics-ready with an RMSc/K cut and incorporates Smith & Wesson’s ClearSight gas-diverting cut. The pistol ships with Ameriglo Trooper LumiGreen front night sight and a blacked-out serrated U-notch rear sight.
A lengthened grip provides increased capacity (13- and 15-round magazine options) while maintaining a slim profile for concealed carry. The design adds aggressive front and rear slide serrations, a flat-face trigger, an integrated accessory rail on the dustcover, and is offered with or without a manual thumb safety. Unloaded weight is approximately 20.8 oz.
