The Smith & Wesson M&P45 Shield M2.0 is a compact, slim .45 Auto striker-fired pistol designed for concealed carry and everyday carry use. It features a polymer frame with an embedded stainless steel chassis, stainless steel slide and barrel with an Armornite® corrosion-resistant finish, aggressive grip texture and front cocking serrations.
Factory specifications list a 3.3in (8.4 cm) barrel and an overall length of 6.45in (16.4 cm). The Shield M2.0 .45 models ship with steel and are offered with 7+1 and 6+1 magazine configurations. The pistol is finished in black with a polymer grip and weighs 20.5 oz (581.2 g) empty.
