Smith & Wesson S&W Model 559 9mm

This is a fairly rare 2nd Generation S&W Model 559. Less than 11,000 of this model was made in total from 1980-1983. This pistol was made in 1981. This is the rarer adjustable sight version.

Overall very nice condition with some finish wear and real light oxidation in the grooves of the front strap and backstrap - see pictures. The steel of the slide has turned a plum shade similar to Ruger 77 receivers from the same time period. As you can see from the slide markings, this gun has not been refinished.

Comes with five magazines, and what look like very nice Cocobolo grips.
