The SIG Sauer MPX Carbine (MPX-C-9-KM-T) is a modular 9mm semi-automatic carbine built on an aluminum receiver with a hard coat anodized finish and a Nitron®-finished, hammer-forged 16 in barrel. It ships with a full-length Picatinny top rail and folding iron sights, and features ambidextrous controls including a dual-sided selector, magazine release, charging handle and bolt release.
The MPX Carbine uses a short-stroke gas piston with a rotating locking bolt and a 3-position collapsing stock. It is supplied with a 30-round magazine, has a trigger pull of 5.5–9.0 lbs, and a listed weight of 7.2 lbs (with magazine). Overall length is 33 in extended (28.5 in collapsed).
