Most controls also sport a black matte finish, with the exception of the trigger and hammer, which are left in the white, as is the barrel. Machined to fine tolerances, the slide and frame are hand fitted to ensure accuracy and reliability. Premium internal parts, including a match grade barrel, match grade hammer / sear / trigger set, and the externally mounted extractor complete the factory performance package. A straight, grooved mainspring housing, skeletonized Commander style hammer, 25-line per inch checkering on the front strap, moderate de-horning, extended thumb safety, speed bump on the grip safety, and aggressively textured grips ensure sure and easy handling.
