This is a used Sig Sauer P226 .40 caliber Police Trade-In Pistol with NEW Truglo fiber optic sights (green rear / red front), a Sig standard capacity (12 rounds) magazine and the standard DA/SA (double action / single action) trigger group. It has standard grips and the frame was made in West Germany. The Sig P226 is a premier firearm used by police and military units around the world. This one is a .40 caliber full-size battel gun with plenty of firepower and it's easily converted to .357SIG. This is a police trade-in with little holster wear. One of the great features about police trade-in's is that department armorers take good care of the guns and conduct regular maintenance. For a gun engineered for 50,000 rounds, this gun has a lot of life left in in. I'm a Certified Sig-Sauer Armorer and I completely disassembled, inspected, cleaned and test fired this gun so I know it is in excellent mechanical condition.
