Seller Description
Smith and Wesson 9mm automatic, model 3953. This gun has only the lightest of holster wear; appears to have been shot very little. Looks like a police trade in since several departments back a few years ago carried these as department issue. These Smith and Wesson pistols come with aluminum-alloy frames and stainless steel slides finished in a matt look. They have adjustable sights with an 8-round magazine plus 1 in the chamber. Note that the magazine has a "pinky" extension for an easy grip. The pistol is double-action only as the hammer is bobbed. The front strap and trigger guard are stippled for a more secure grip. The pistol has a 3 1/2 inch barrel and is narrow and light (for an all-metal gun). The grips are a textured hard polycarbonate (see pictures). These guns were manufactured in the '90's and designed more or less for police use. They are great shooters and come with the Smith and Wesson name, of course, which pretty well speaks for itself.
