Named model was, 9 Tactical Smith & Wesson. sku was 108266; from this one’s BDH serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 2005 as part of a Law Enforcement order. Factory feature abbreviations were 10 SH FS AMSF TDA, for 10 shot magazine, Fixed Sights, Ambidextrous Safety / Decocker, Traditional Double Action: a long smooth first-shot trigger pull on the first shot from a resting hammer, then a 5 1/4 pound single action pull with minimal felt creep on subsequent shots until the operator puts the car in park with the lever safety / decocker. Construction is stainless steel, with black anodized .260 serrated spur hammer and matching .305 smooth combat trigger. Sights are factory issue Novak , both dovetailed into the slide. Barrel is 4 inch with the distinctive muzzle configuration that locks into the slide bushing so consistently and makes this among the most accurate pistols ever made. Frame is TSW recessed, checker serrated on the front strap, and with black anodized Picatinny accessory rail. Weight empty is 38.3 ounces, with center of gravity at the grip frame – trigger guard junction. Magazines are both new replacement Mec-Gar 17 rounders, as good as factory or perhaps even better.
