This 3913 Ladysmith, product code 108290, represents Smith & Wesson's crowning achievement in special run metal frame compact pistols that began in the 1960s with the Devel Custom modified variants of the Model 39 single stack 9mm. This is the beveled frame type, round serrated trigger guard 3913 with the words Lady Smith laser engraved on the right side of its slide. Frame construction is specially coated alloy. Slide is satin finished stainless with rear serrations, left side safety and decocking lever for right-handed shooters; Novak Sights. Barrel is the highly accurate knurled muzzle 3 1/2 inch that always performed with superior accuracy. Type is traditional double action; long double action pull on the first shot from a resting hamme and then short single action pull on subsequent shots from a standing hammer position. This pistol incorporates three outstanding safety mechanisms: the firing pin block safety, a magazine safety, and the main decocking safety lever.
