The Ruger MAX-9 is a micro-compact, striker-fired 9mm pistol designed for everyday concealed carry. It features a 3.2 in hammer-forged barrel, an optics-ready slide cut that accepts common , and ships with two magazines (10- and 12-round configurations). The MAX-9 includes a loaded-chamber indicator and an integrated trigger safety.
The MAX-9 is built on a precision-machined aluminum fire-control chassis with a glass-filled nylon grip frame and a medium-texture grip surface for positive purchase. Sight configuration is a tritium-fiber-optic day/night front sight co-witnessed with a drift-adjustable rear sight. Models are offered with or without an external manual thumb safety.
