The Ruger SR22 is a compact, magazine-fed rimfire pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It uses a straight blowback action with a double-action first shot followed by single-action operation and features an ambidextrous manual safety/decocker.
This UPC-matched variant (model 3604) is the threaded-barrel configuration with a 3.50in threaded steel barrel (1/2"-28), a 10+1 capacity, adjustable , and an accessory rail that accepts M1913 (Picatinny) lights and sighting devices. The pistol has an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy slide over a glass-filled nylon polymer frame and is listed at approximately 17.5 oz unloaded in distributor/industry specifications.
Intended primarily for recreational and sport shooting, the SR22's lightweight polymer frame, accessory rail and adjustable sights make it suitable for range use, training, and competition-style rimfire shooting.
