The Ruger SR1911 Southport Street Edition is a limited-edition, lightweight Commander-style 1911 chambered in .45 ACP. It pairs a 4.25in stainless steel barrel with a low-glare stainless slide that is finely engraved and carries Ruger branding and an eagle motif.
Built on a black anodized aluminum (lightweight Commander-style) frame, the pistol features drift-adjustable Novak , a skeletonized trigger and hammer, a titanium firing pin and an oversized beavertail grip safety. This Street Edition ships with two seven-round stainless-steel magazines and deluxe checkered black/gray G10 grip panels.
The Street Edition SR1911s are produced as limited runs honoring Ruger manufacturing facilities (the Southport variant is engraved with the facility address) and are a commemorative, collector-oriented version of Ruger’s SR1911 Commander-style pistols.
