The Ruger Security-9 Compact is a compact 9mm semi-automatic pistol built around a precision-machined, hard-coat anodized aluminum chassis with full-length guide rails and a blued, through-hardened alloy steel slide and barrel. It ships with two 10-round alloy steel magazines and a finger grip extension floorplate and features a dovetailed, drift-adjustable rear sight and a fixed sight.
The pistol uses Ruger’s Secure Action (pre-cocked double-action style) and includes an integrated trigger safety plus an external manual thumb safety and a hammer catch. The compact model has an accessory rail, a textured glass-filled nylon grip frame, and a blued slide/barrel finish, making it suited for everyday carry and range use.
