The Ruger MAX-9 is a compact, striker-fired 9mm pistol built on a precision-machined aluminum fire-control chassis with a through-hardened alloy-steel slide and a 3.2in hammer-forged barrel. This variant ships in a black oxide finish and is configured with a factory manual thumb safety and factory-supplied magazine(s) sized for 10 rounds (10+1 capacity).
Factory sights include a tritium/fiber-optic front sight and a drift-adjustable rear sight. The MAX-9 is optic-ready for direct mounting of co-witnessed Shield/JPoint-pattern micro and features a loaded-chamber viewport and integrated trigger safety. The medium-textured grip and compact dimensions make the pistol intended for concealed carry and personal defense.
