Part of Ruger’s limited-run SR1911 “Street Edition” series, this lightweight Commander-style SR1911 is chambered in .45 Auto and features a 4.25" stainless steel barrel and a finely laser-engraved stainless slide bearing Ruger insignia and an American bald eagle motif. Novak drift-adjustable are fitted for quick target acquisition.
Built on a black-anodized lightweight aluminum Commander-style frame, the pistol carries SR1911 standard features including a skeletonized trigger and hammer, polished titanium feed ramp and titanium firing pin, a flat mainspring housing and an oversized beavertail grip safety. The Street Edition pistols are produced in limited quantities and ship with stainless steel magazines (two seven-round magazines per Ruger press coverage of the series).
