The Kimber R7 Mako is a striker-fired micro-compact pistol chambered in 9mm with a 3.37 in stainless barrel and a 6.2 in overall length. It ships with both flush and extended magazines (11+1 and 13+1 capacities) and was offered in optic-installed and optics-ready factory configurations.
The pistol uses a glass-filled polymer frame with aggressive stippling and a palm swell for control, and the slide/barrel receive a ferritic nitrocarburizing (FNC) finish. Kimber fitted the R7 Mako with TruGlo Tritium Pro day/night sights and a striker block plus trigger safety.
Introduced in 2022, the R7 Mako was marketed as a high-capacity micro-compact carry pistol with multiple factory variants (optics installed / optics ready).
