The Pro CDP II is a 1911-pattern carry pistol built in Kimber's CDP (Custom Defense Package) series. It is chambered in .45 ACP with a 4 in match-grade barrel, stainless steel slide and an aluminum frame finished in KimPro II for a two-tone appearance. The Pro CDP II ships with hand-checkered double-diamond rosewood grips and low-profile 3-dot (night) sights.
Designed for carry, Pro CDP II pistols include ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail/grip safety arrangement, 30 lines-per-inch frontstrap checkering, a premium aluminum match-grade trigger (factory ~4–5 lb) and rounded/blended Carry Melt edges to reduce printing and snags. Typical unloaded weight is listed at about 28 oz and the model is supplied with single-stack magazines holding 7 rounds (7+1 capacity with one in the chamber).
