The Kimber KDS9c is a double-stack, 1911-style, hammer-fired 9mm pistol built around a fluted, crowned and ramped 4.00in stainless steel bull barrel. The platform uses a 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum frame with integrated cross-hatch G10 grip panels and a reversible magazine catch.
Factory features verified for the KDS9c include an optics-ready slide with removable plates for common , a crisp single-action trigger (factory ~3.5–4.5 lb pull), and safety devices including a manual thumb safety, sear disconnect and hammer safety notch. The model ships with factory magazines in 10- or 15-round capacities and is marketed for everyday carry / personal defense and range recreation.
