The Kimber Amethyst Ultra II is a Special Edition 1911-style pistol in .45 ACP with a 3 in barrel and a 7+1 capacity. It is a compact Ultra™ II model that was introduced as part of Kimber's gem-tone special edition lineup.
Factory features verified for this model include a purple PVD slide with border engraving paired to a satin silver (KimPro II) frame, purple/black G10 grips, a match-grade barrel and match-grade trigger, and Tactical Wedge night sights. The Ultra II designation uses Kimber's Series II safety and the pistol is single-action.
