The Rapide is Kimber's modern 1911 offering featuring stepped cocking serrations and slide lightening cuts on a stainless-steel slide. It uses a 5 in match-grade stainless barrel and Kimber's Stiplex™ textured frontstrap paired with RAPIDE G-10 grips for secure purchase.
Rapide models are equipped with TruGlo TFX Pro day/night sights (with Kimber’s signature orange front ring) and ship with a factory magazine (the original RAPIDE announcement specifies an 8-round Tac magazine for the initial RAPIDE models). The pistols are built on a stainless-steel 1911 platform intended for sporting and defensive use.
