The Kimber Rampart is a compensated 1911-pattern pistol built on a stainless-steel frame and slide with slide lightning cuts and a ported channel on the topstrap forward of the ejection port. It ships with Kimber’s patent-pending toolless compensator, HIVIZ sights (HIVIZ and HIVIZ ), Black Lok Custom Boggy G10 grips and an ambidextrous thumb safety. The Rampart’s standard configuration for the 10mm model includes a 5.00 in barrel, an 8-round single-stack magazine and an advertised unloaded weight of 40.25 oz.
