The KelTec P50 is a 5.7x28mm semi-automatic pistol built around a top-mounted, double-stack PS90-style magazine that holds 50 rounds (plus one in the chamber). It uses a straight blowback operation with a hammer-fired, single-action trigger system and a 9.6 in barrel in a 15 in overall package.
The receiver features a full-length Picatinny-style rail and an accessory rail forward of the trigger guard for mounting optics and lights; iron sights are adjustable (rear windage, front elevation). The pistol includes an ambidextrous manual safety, a threaded muzzle with thread protector, and a pivoting upper that opens to access the magazine.
