The KelTec P50 is a large-format semi-automatic pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm that uses a top-mounted double-stack magazine to provide a 50-round onboard capacity (plus one in the chamber). It features a 9.6 in barrel, a pivoting upper receiver for magazine access, an ambidextrous manual safety lever and a hammer-fired, single-action trigger system.
The P50 ships with an extended Picatinny-style top rail and a lower accessory rail for lights/lasers, adjustable front and rear sights (front post elevation; rear windage), a threaded 1/2-28 TPI muzzle, and a textured “gator” style grip. Construction includes an aluminum receiver with a glass-reinforced nylon grip; unloaded weight is 3.2 lbs and overall length is 15 in.
