The KelTec P17 is a compact, lightweight semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR. It uses a straight blowback, hammer-fired single-action mechanism and ships with 16-round magazines (16+1 capacity). The pistol features a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight, an ambidextrous manual safety, and an integrated Picatinny-style accessory rail.
Constructed with an impact-resistant glass-reinforced nylon grip/slide cover and a steel internal frame and hardened steel slide/barrel, the P17 has a threaded barrel for muzzle device attachment and is designed for affordable range use, training, and compact carry. Unloaded weight is listed as 10.9 oz and overall length is 6.7 in with a 3.8 in barrel.
