The PLR-22 is a semi-automatic .22 Long Rifle pistol built on a lightweight polymer chassis. It uses a blowback action and accepts high-capacity .22 LR magazines (Atchisson-style) with a factory-stated 26-round magazine capacity. The receiver features an integral MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail for mounting optics or accessories and ships with adjustable iron sights.
The PLR-22 has a threaded muzzle (1/2-28) for muzzle devices, a manual safety, and a polymer (Zytel) receiver and grip for reduced weight. Manufacturer specifications list an overall length of 18.5in and a 10.2in barrel, with an unloaded weight of approximately 2.8 lbs.
