The Rapide Frost is a Kimber 1911-style, stainless-steel semi-automatic pistol built around a 5-inch match-grade barrel and a 1911 custom platform. It features slide lightening cuts and stepped cocking serrations to shorten lock time, a flush-fitting extended magwell and a match-grade trigger (factory spec ~4–5 lb). The Rapide Frost ships with TruGlo TFX Pro day/night sights and black Rapide G10 grips.
Chambered in 10mm Auto, the Frost configuration ships with an 8+1 magazine capacity and tips the scales at approximately 38 ounces with an overall length of about 8.7 inches. The Rapide family is manufactured in the United States and is positioned as a performance/target-oriented 1911 for sport and range use.
