Hi Standard Model “C” .22 short

Hi Standard Model “C” .22 short. Serial #ML80XXX. 6-3/4” Barrel. This Model C is a later gun with a Type II take down and most of the blue is gone. The gun appears to be all original except the side plate has been replaced. I have test fired the gun and everything works. It seems to work better with the higher velocity .22 shorts. The Model C was manufactured by High Standard with a rather small slant grip and a fixed thin barrel. The company offered the gun for sale with a choice of two barrels: a 4.5" barrel and a 6.75" barrel. The pistol is similar in appearance to the Model B, which is chambered in .22 LR. The Hi Standard Models B and C are similar in appearance to the Colt Woodsman. There were less than 5000 of this model made. No box. No papers.
