The VP9L OR is the long-slide, optics-ready variant of Heckler & Koch’s VP9 family. It uses an extended slide and a 5.00 in cold-hammer-forged barrel with an O-ring bushing for improved slide-to-barrel lockup and accuracy, and features slide lightening cuts. The long-slide configuration includes an adjustable rear sight and a high-visibility fiber-optic front sight.
Built on HK’s polymer VP frame, the VP9L OR ships optics-ready and is supplied with factory 20-round magazines (10-round magazines available for restrictive states). It retains the VP series’ short-recoil operating system, striker-fired trigger, full-length Picatinny rail under the dust cover, and multiple internal safeties including a trigger safety and firing-pin block.
