The HK P30SK is a subcompact, hammer-fired, magazine-fed semi-automatic pistol built on a high-strength polymer frame with interchangeable backstraps and lateral grip panels to customize fit. The slide is machined from high-carbon steel and finished with a corrosion-resistant nitro-carburized treatment; the pistol features a cold-hammer-forged polygonal barrel and an abbreviated Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail molded into the dustcover for lights and lasers.
P30SK models ship with non-radioactive high-contrast sights (open rectangular notch rear sight and high-contrast front sight) and are offered in multiple trigger variants including LEM (V1/V2) and DA/SA with a decocker (V3). Built-in safety features include a firing-pin block, drop safety, and variant-dependent controls (decocker or ambidextrous manual safeties). Standard 9 mm configuration uses a 10-round factory magazine and the pistol is manufactured in Oberndorf, Germany.
